Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodles) is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes, and my preferred spot in Melbourne has always been Ba Le in Footscray. Recently, I discovered that they have another location in St. Albans. While I'm not sure if it's the same franchise, the taste is very similar and the name is the same so I can only assume it is. I adore this dish for its strong lemongrass and chili aroma, and the lingering spicy aftertaste. The noodles come with pork and beef slices, Vietnamese ham, pork blood cubes, and a swirl of herbs.
