The right home of Doo Wop. Wildwood is home to the Wildwood Doo Wop Preservation League. So this is not just a theme restaurant it s where Doo Wop started! Dok. Wop Diner is super sweet and sits directly on the boardwalk! The best family restaurant on Jersey Shore Hot List was chosen in 2012. Urban Spoon will not allow me to post links so you can see that one is up. The menu is extensive. So I'll just post the milkshake part of the menu. Doo Wop Sundaes Your choice: vanilla or chocolate and a topping (hot fudge, caramel, strawberry, pineapple or marshmallow with whipped cream and cherry) Spun milk shakes To cart 22 $ It is easy to see why people love this restaurant: delicious food, fast and friendly service, affordable prices and cool Doo Wop music and memory. If you do not know, there are not many bathrooms on Wildwood Boardwalk. The bathrooms are dirty and full. The Doo Wop Diner has a clean bathroom for customers. Don't really think about burgers when we're on the boardwalk, but have crashed here because we wanted to sit down and eat somewhere. We were blown away from the decor to the service and absolutely the quality of the foods. Had to look at the menu after taking a walk through the table of all with huge baskets of burgers and pommes to make sure they served something else. Of course we have burgers and pommes and are not disappointed. This is the place you see in the Food Network and wish there was a place like this. This is this place. It will change how to eat on boardwalk.
Great breakfast! Classical diner food and comfortable on boardwalk. The kitchen sink breakfast was huge and delicious. That's the BLT Bagel. We also had breakfast Burrito as well as eggs and scrap and everything was perfectly cooked. Service was friendly. If you are looking for breakfast on the boards, the stop is worth it.
