Doolittles Woodfire Grill

We have been dining at Doolittle's for many years. Normally, I have no reason to complain. Our waiter was upfront with being a fairly new employee (3 months). Somehow, he misfiled the order somehow and it took over an hour to receive our food. Once in hand, 3 out of the 4 meals were great! Mine however, the signature meal of roast chicken that in the past had been moist and tasty, was overcooked and so dry that I needed to wash it down with water in order to swallow it. Given that four meals and drinks were over $130, I expected better.

We loved everything about Doolittle's! The noise level was the same as it is in other fine restaurants we happen to be hard of hearing. There was no boisterous activity. Our reservation was for 4:30 and the place filled up fast and by the time we left there was a crowd waiting to get in a testament to the quality of Doolittle's! I would highly recommend to anybody.

Drinks were watered down, food was ok, fries were cold, service was poor. Servers second day on his own. Asked us about 10 times if we wanted to order.....every 3 minutes. Husband ordered a draft light beer and he brought a bottle of Budweiser and then said I rang this in wrong, do you want it? Disappointed as we used to love this place.

Doolittle's is consistently delicious, provides high quality food and service. Highly recommend! I've been with several people, different tastes and everyone has always left happy and impressed. Great job maintaining years of top notch service and food!

I have always liked Doolittle's and the food is good. Our service was not good though. The server barely came by and when she did we asked if we could order or entree. The entree order also got messed up and was entered into the system wrong.
