The wait staff did remember it was a birthday and brought a special dessert. Overall, it was a very OK affair. The steak was very good, the sides were decent, and the service was good. You’re paying for the quality of the steaks, and everything else is a econd or third thought. But if you’re in town and want a delicious steak, this place delivers. It’s a casual environment, with a full bar and access to good wine. It’s definitely a steakhouse in the traditional sense and there’s nothing wrong with that.
