Every week, we go to Benicia for my daughter’s tutoring, and I love to surprise her with a treat from Double Rainbow! We always have a wonderful time chatting with the staff and trying out different milk tea combinations (her favorite is the mango jelly). The vibrant atmosphere, commitment to COVID safety protocols, and the variety of ice cream, donuts, and other delights are all amazing! It’s hard not to smile when you’re surrounded by bright, colorful chairs and delicious sweets.
I returned for a visit and couldn't wait to stop by my favorite ice cream shop! It was tough to choose an ice cream flavor because they are all so rich and creamy. Before leaving the city, I decided to try a loaded hot chocolate, and it was fabulous! I can't wait for my next visit. I also took a caramel latte to go, and it was delicious as well!
Outstanding service and truly exceptional ice cream! Every time we come to Benicia, we make sure to walk down 1st Street to indulge in a treat at Double Rainbow. The team is welcoming and patient, especially with so many delightful flavors to try. It’s definitely worth grabbing a pint to take home!
Absolutely delicious! The cones here are a game-changer—unlike the usual sugary waffle cones, they come in a variety of vibrant flavors. This restaurant exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like home. I delighted in my affogato, while others savored their ice cream, sherbet, and special treats; we even considered trying some bubble tea. We had a great time taking fun photos in their lively and colorful shop.

My daughter brought me here with my grandsons, and the ice cream shop has the cutest tables and chairs shaped like ice cream cones, along with delicious flavors. The two young women working there were very friendly.
