Doyle Sansome & Sons Lobster Pool

I was brought up in the East Neuk of Fife in Scotland and we used to get haddock straight from the boats in Anstruther - I can honestly say the cod here is every bit as good with light fluffy batter and great handout chips too.They even have gluten free fries as it is a separate frier from the battered or breaded items so great for Coeliacs. They do a seafood pasta which is GF and very goodAll in all excellent with great friendly service too - a must eat here if in the areaRob

We have eaten here two nights in a row. My wife enjoyed two rare opportunities to have a perfect lobster dinner. I had a fine scallop dinner the first time, then had the best seafood chowder I have had in 9 days on the island today, plus an excellent fish and chips. Seafood here is fresh, fresh, fresh. Service is good. Talk to Calvin at the lobster pool if you wish to choose your personal lobster. Not fancy, just friendly people serving great food.

we went for dinner with 4 adults and 2 kids. the service was great. we were told we had to go early to avoid a line up so we went at 4:30 and by 6 it was busy. we had lobster, scallops and cod cakes but we started with the chowder and it was the best I ever had! really tasted fresh. we all enjoyed our food. glad we went!

The lobster was fresh and delicious. The service was fantastic. the waitress (Georgia) even helped my 83 yr old mother with her lobster. Lovely view too. Definitely tops on our list. They even had things for the kids who didn't want lobster.

Definitely the best place to visit by far! Had the most amazing seafood and the best waitress we've ever had! Ask for Georgia when you visit! Definitely will be back!
