It was yum!!! And just the right level of spiciness on an icy cold day. The restaurant was full when I left at 115 am, so I recommend the booking."

There were supposed to be three options on the menu, but in reality there was only one and a half. The vegan fish and chips were disappointing, and the vegan burger did not come with a bread roll because it was not vegan, so they served it with a scone instead. Unfortunately, the scone on both meals was heavy and dry. The sausage with onion gravy was burnt, and the burger, which was essentially just a large falafel, was also burnt. Additionally, the chips had a strong taste of chip oil.

I decided to try the vegan curry, which was simple and tasted fine, but it was served with only a few pieces of broccoli on a bed of white rice. My friend ordered the lentil chili bean bowl, which looked more visually appealing and had a better balance of vegetables to rice. In addition to these options, the restaurant also offers a vegan soup, vegan cheese, and a vegan burger.
I was happy to see a dedicated vegan/vegetarian section on the menu. There weren't many options, but I chose the 'fish', chips, and peas. The portion size was just right for a light lunch with a pot of tea. Unfortunately, there were no dessert options for vegans. The staff was friendly, the interior was spacious, and the restaurant had a lovely setting in the park. There was free parking nearby, which was convenient.
