On Mother's Day 5/8/22, 5:30pm. The place was busy, they told us it would be a 40-minute wait. We decided to stay. We got a table at 6:15 as they said. We ordered. we got our salads, and one drink. We never seen the waitress until she comes to our table at 7:20pm to tell us that our ticket was fourth in line, and I know you have been waiting here so long, already and the orders ahead of ours was a lot more in their party's, and that we could leave if we did not want to wait, because it looked like it maybe a longer wait for our food. I hate to leave only 2 stars, this business is a local hub and has been a child since I was a child, with which my man and I ordered takeout and we live 45 seconds away. we picked it up early. it was over $100 for 4 meals. that's okay if they might pay for something that is worth it, also factor inflation. right! wrong. I'm so upset that we were truncated on the wings, the pommes tasted and stale as if we were three days old. my fish and chips were so tender that they fell into oil saturated pieces and uncooked teig, my men French bath was soggy because of the cup au ju, which melted through the plastic his whole meal. I support the local business, but that is completely unacceptable.
We visited Dry Creek on a Saturday and were very disappointed with our experience. Upon entering, my parents and I were greeted by a rude older woman with blonde/grey curly hair who asked how many people were in our party without any friendly salutation. She appeared to have been drinking alcohol. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the service was poor. The same rude woman brought out our appetizer and nearly dropped it on our table. This was not the first negative encounter we had with her. We left feeling regretful, especially considering the high prices and mediocre food. The owner should consider hiring a more pleasant host who is not intoxicated. We will not be returning.
My wife and I visited this restaurant for dinner for the second time. I must say, our first experience was better. Unfortunately, my steak was overcooked and I had to send it back, and the garlic mashed potatoes were a bit dry. However, I must commend the attentive and friendly waiting staff.
Waitresses were very cordial and always available. Pork ribs and Beef ribs were excellent. Restaurant cleanliness was very noticeable and quantity of food was just right. A free bowl of ice cream with a candle hit the spot for my wife's birthday. Highly recommend this restaurant.
