However, I did have a few issues during my visit. My old-fashioned drink wasn't made quite right, and I had to request additional ingredients to get the flavor profile I was looking for. Also, while my wife’s dish arrived sizzling hot, mine was served cold, and I felt the portion size was a bit small. I was surprised to be charged for bread when a little dish is usually offered without cost.
Another concern was the dock area, which seemed potentially dangerous, especially on a windy day when my wife's sunglasses nearly flew into the water. I had to keep a close watch on our table to prevent anything from going overboard.

We recently discovered an amazing new restaurant in Whitestone, Queens, called DP Riverside Grill. It offers fresh seafood right by the water, and we were treated to a breathtaking sunset as we enjoyed some delicious and reasonably priced food along with excellent service. The lamb hot dogs and fish we tried were incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. The menu boasts a diverse selection of mouthwatering dishes, making it tough to decide what to order! We had a fantastic lunch and came back later for dessert, relishing the sunset once more. We sampled several desserts, each one a delightful treat. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. We chose to sit outside, which was delightful. We tried several dishes; however, the margaritas were a bit disappointing. On the other hand, the guacamole was fresh and flavorful. The mango shrimp and Barg kebab were delicious. The sag paneer was decent—well-seasoned, but the texture was a bit unusual. I enjoyed a glass of excellent Cabernet. The service was attentive and very helpful. The prices are fair. I really hope they get more customers on a beautiful Sunday evening at 6:00, as we were the only table there.
I dined at the restaurant the same day as Sandipan, and we had an amazing experience. The food was outstanding, and the owner really went the extra mile by personally preparing some incredible salad for us and waiting for our arrival. He even kept the restaurant open late so that our friends could join us. The new chef is fantastic! You absolutely have to try the Lamb Kabob and Kima Nan—they were incredibly tasty. To top it all off, we were treated to a complimentary dessert. Thank you so much!

We dined at this restaurant on Saturday night and were thrilled to discover such a wonderful place. The view of the pancake—presumably a notable landmark or natural feature—was breathtaking. The staff welcomed us with warmth, and the service was outstanding. With four of us at the table, we tried a variety of dishes from the menu, and each one was delightful. The scenery became even more stunning as the sun set. I will definitely be back!
The kebabs were delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the keema nuts. The atmosphere is amazing, though it does come with a higher price tag. If you're seeking an upscale dining experience, this place is definitely worth checking out. However, if you're after a more casual dinner, there are plenty of other Indian restaurants that offer better flavors at a much more affordable price. I don't think I'll be returning on my own.

I visited the restaurant with Sandipan on the same day, and we had an amazing experience. The owner graciously stayed open late for us and personally made a fantastic salad to accommodate our friends. New Koch is truly outstanding! My friend and I dined here last week, and the food was amazing. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent recommendations. The saffron chicken was delectable, and the Tequila ice pops for dessert were a fun and unique touch. It's definitely a great local spot that we’ll be returning to!
