Duffy's Tavern - Réserver une table

Owner is racist (asked a manager to find more mexicans for back of house work so he can pay them less then minimum wage, under the table in cash), steals tips and blames staff for stealing alcohol. Owner said he had to quit drinking because he would get creepy around girls (yeah, he literally said that). Also forces staff to do some extremely questionable things and treats them like trash. Highly unprofessional which is unfortunate because food is actually not that bad. Oh and he was on bar rescue which all the locals are aware of. In the episode many locals have told me that he appears highly sexist and his demeaner is very immature.

Duffy's screwed the musicians again ! If you read all the bad reviews on facebook etc this place has a severe management problem. I drove an hour and 15 minutes to see my friend's band play. Duffy's pre-empted the band on short notice so five people could watch the Raptors game on a big screen in front of the stage. There are many people there specifically to see the band who had to wait two and a half hours. This totally messed up a band first CD release party. What a rude and incompetent unprofessional thing to do!! Support local musicians pass on this bar!

I seriously love this place! This will be my new local from now on. I've visited about 4 times now and every single time I've only encountered super friendly staff! Rare these days to get good customer service. Not to mention the beer on tap is probably the cheapest you can find in all of Toronto, and I'm here for it! The food is great and they always have great music playing. I am more than happy to recommend this place! ?

I normally love coming here but yesterday me and my boyfriend came to have dinner on the patio, only to be interrupted by someone drilling into the brick wall about ten feet away from us. In what universe would it be appropriate to do this kind of handiwork at 6:30pm… literally the middle of your dinner rush?? I just don’t get it. Thanks for an unforgettable evening.

Duff's has been around in a previous incarnation for many years in the Bloordale area. A little while back they spruced up the joint and made some welcome changes. Still a reliable place to grab a cheap drink and enjoy a sit on the patio. Other neighborhood places exist worth visiting but this places has a good vibe as well. Top notch staff/servers.

Ordered through doordash. This is a joke. They had disgusting red onion,it was not in the description. I paid for extra chicken,you can see there is barely any on nachos. Avoid by all means! For the price of 18.99 you can do better elsewhere

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. They will RIP YOU OFF!!! They claimed it was a $15 deposit to play a game of pool and once we were done they claimed that money was the charge for us to play a game. THEY ARE LIARS AND SWINDLERS. DO NOT GO HERE

I was there for a show. I think that was a divisible earlier, but I didn't see any evidence for it. it is very clean, good drink selection, and as concert hall it is quite tight (although they need better concert lighting).

Duffy's has really leveled up in the last few months. Hilary and Daniele are great. Fun and friendly. Decent drink specials and great Caesars!!
