Went here for Sunday lunch as my daugjter had been 2 weeks before i was recommended the Homemade Steak pie but opted for double cooked chips for a change rather than mash but must say was massive chuck's of steak the taste of the gravy in it was to die for. There was 4 of us everyone enjoyed there meals Granddaughter enjoyed her kids sausage chips if i had to complain it was only because there was not enough gravy on any meals so we had to keep borrowing the Granddaughter's it wont put me off will be back again for a good Homemade meal but will remember to order extra gravy.

Visited this afternoon with family. My food was ok, I had fish and chips but 2 others had a Sunday dinner which was mostly frozen food e.g. frozen potatoes and prepacked meat. We also heard the microwave going an awful lot. We asked for some water and it came in a jug which was dirty, it had water marks all around it and to top it off..the bar maid was sat puffing away on her vape in the corner. Probably wouldn't visit again

Good food, nice staff and pretty lights. Ther was however a wierd bloke who kept staring at us from the bar. He followed my daughter and was waiting outside the toilets when she came out!! He was a customer (looked like a regular) not a member of staff. Very strange stalker type.

Great friendly staff always smiling, lovely, clean and spacious areas for a great family meal cooked by the best chefs in Cottingham. Nice large beer garden too with a little fairytale seating area for kids.

Love this pub! Meals are delicious always served hot and never wait long. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and well presented. Beer garden with bbq! We are never disappointed weekly for a meal.

Sunday lunch, generally good quality except for the obvious frozen roast potatoes. Beef looked prepacked but tasty. It didn't help that some of the staff were sat vaping in the corner.

My husband and I were cycling and hungry, we were in Cottingham and decided to eat there. We ordered meatcake we didn't have to wait long and it was delicious. She will eat again soon

Had a family meal here. A party of 8, all our meals came out at correct time. We all enjoyed our meals. Excellent service. Will go back
