We waited nearly 90 minutes to be served. Our waiter seemed busy and never came by to update us on the status of our meal. After an hour of waiting, my partner got up to find someone for assistance. Our waiter finally approached our table and informed us, “Your food is almost ready. It’s delayed because they have a steak order.” In the end, four of us received our meals, but the fifth—a burger—didn't arrive until another 10 minutes later. The salmon was well-prepared, but it was cold. The burger was also cold, as were all the side dishes, and the fried okra tasted like it had been sitting on the counter for at least a day. Overall, this was one of the worst, if not the absolute worst, dining...
The food is always pretty good here. However, since they sold out it’s $10 more for a steak. The service was okay. It felt like we were being rushed. It was a Christmas dinner that was late in coming so we needed some time to chat and talk over the season. Not for our waiter. It felt like the whole time we were rushed. Overall it was good, but the wait staff needs to be cognitive of their customers and not push.
Definitely a night to remember at this classic steakhouse! Our waiter, Justin, was fantastic, but our meal took an hour to leave the kitchen. Unfortunately, the "manager" was not very helpful or apologetic, which overshadowed the dining experience. If it hadn't been for our attentive waiter, we might have considered leaving after waiting for 30 minutes! Hopefully, this was just a one-time mishap!
Waiter failed to put our order in then 45 minutes later came back to tell us he had done so as if it was no issue. Then it still took an additional 30 minutes for the food to come out. Nothing like a 7:30PM reservation then have to end up closing the place and having listen to blaring loud, rap music. Last visit for us.

This old school Steak House rocks a different vibe in the Front Room vs The Backdoor club . Complete with the martini shakers to the table, old wooden salad bowls kept in the refrigerator until you go thru the Salad Bar. Service is great and again, old school . Don 't miss this hidden gem.
The place is terribly run down. Our food was cold and overcooked. Plate presentation was terrible! I think a Dennys has better presentation. First time there for both of us and we booked our New Year’s Eve dinner because it had good ratings, it was definitely a mistake. Never again.
Another wonderful dining experience at Dunston's. Where else can you have a nice New Year's Eve Dinner without being gouged. Same menu, same price, and a great meal before the start of the new year.
The service could have been improved, but everything else was fantastic. I'll definitely be returning soon!

Good food at a great value. Best salad bar left in captivity!
