at the first visit of this terrace series, as we needed a last minute of cake on Saturday morning. we called 10 minutes before the arrival to ask if they had any cake on the hand, and the girl that picked up the phone was friendly and courteous and advised that they did. When we arrived, we were surprised that we saw a line up, but it moved quickly. we got a few croissants next to a cake because everything looked really good! my favorite croissant was the ham and cheese that was good room temperature, but even better heated according to their heating instructions! we also picked up the soleil cake, which has absolutely surpassed our expectations! this is one of the best cakes I had. light an...
We tried the Pistachio Brioche, Smoked Gouda and Cheddar Brioche, and Gâteau Basque (Matcha cream with Raspberry) at this restaurant. The brioche were all delicious and had a nice flaky texture. The flavors were balanced and not overwhelming. The Pistachio Brioche was a bit on the sweet side, but I appreciated the actual pistachios in the buttery brioche. My favorite was the Smoked Gouda and Cheddar Brioche, which had the perfect amount of saltiness and cheese. I wasn't a big fan of the Gâteau Basque, as I'm not a fan of Matcha, and I wished I had chosen a Citrus brioche instead. I can see myself returning to try more dishes next time.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. We always come here when we are in the area or when we can. We always enjoy their coffee and delicious pastries. We have tried many items, but I always gravitate towards their chocolate croissant (filled with not-too-sweet chocolate) and their butter croissant. It's no surprise that this place is always bustling with people coming and going, carrying bags of their goodies. The staff is friendly, the pastries are amazing, the place is clean, and there is plenty of parking available.
A fantastic and lovely bakery cafe in Markham ! Can't believe I didn't hear about this place for awhile. Croissants and treats here are really yummy and they have lots of croissant variations that are super unique like roast beef and turkey bechamel! Their coffee is also very good, I believe they serve Rufino (from Concord) and it was really nice to have in store while snacking on my pastries! Didn't get to check out the cakes but lots of people came in to buy them!
I typically don't enjoy fancy cakes, but the 'Virgo' cake at this restaurant was delicious, with a subtle hint of espresso flavor that I found just right. The London fog drink was also perfectly made. The staff were friendly and well-groomed, and the atmosphere was pleasant for sitting and chatting. The only downside was that the seating was too close together, making it easy to overhear nearby conversations.
I always enjoy visiting Duo Patisserie. The ambiance is vibrant and visually appealing, and the desserts are consistently scrumptious. I have tried their cakes multiple times and have never been disappointed. I also tried their baked goods, which were also very tasty. The staff is always exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend trying their drinks along with their cakes!
I absolutely adore desserts and this place is quite fancy but definitely lives up to expectations. The desserts are excellent, made with high quality ingredients. Simply looking at the display satisfies my cravings and my sweet tooth is definitely satisfied. I highly recommend this place!
