I really love this charming theater located in the beautiful rural town of Peebles. I would recommend it to everyone! The acoustics are fantastic, thanks to the high arched ceiling. Ticket prices are very affordable, and there's plenty of parking just a few minutes away. Plus, there's a lovely little café on site. The staff is friendly and accommodating; we needed wheelchair access, and they were more than happy to assist us.
a beautiful place to play music in auditorium, I played there first around 2006 with pmc and solo in the music evenings later, always greeted by lucy pappas and the shawy and events were always well joined together. a great help and trust in my early musical shenanigans to play there and with friendly yet professional people. want to come back a day soon and thank them with a musical show :d kudos mark
We used The Eastgate yesterday for a film shoot and I have to say the staff, in particular Richard the in-house sound and lighting guy, were great. Most obliging...nothing was too much trouble for them and with pleasant smiles all round. Fab venue and a great cafe/bar also. We'll be back for sure!
