Edgar and Joe's Cafe

This place gets 5 stars for the concept alone, but the food is delicious too! I love the fact that this establishment really focuses on social responsibility and a commitment to the community. The space itself is inviting, and the staff are very welcoming. The selection of food is great, from lighter salad and fruit bowl options, to a hearty breakfast, as well as delicious beverages and vegetarian options.Bonus points for the idea of 'paying it forward' and adding on an extra coffee to your bill that will be given to another customer. I love it!

Had occasion to attend for breakfast to day with a couple of friends....glad we did. Not only do we support the mission of the place, but we eat out every Tues and wanted to try the place. Can not find fault with the quantity and quality of the food, however charging for a coffee refill did turn us off a bit as we always like to sit and discuss the breakfast, taste, presentation and all that goes with it......hard to do without a coffee in your hand.However we will reconsider down the road and see if it is more "people friendly" next time

Good breakfasts for a family of 4 in a clean and popular cafe. The eggs, bacon and sausage were good but the home fries were nothing special and the whole thing could've done with being a bit warmer! Also would've liked breakfast tea as an option but still a decent meal overall.

We stopped in for breakfast on our way to the market. Immediately asked if we needed serving. We had help with the menu alteration. Food was served up perfectly. Coffee was excellent!

super fast service and great food. They make their jams and sauces in house -- they are really good. Also, have great local coffee - Las Chinas Del Cafe
