I ordered the pasta with red clams sauce and it was very good. However, I was expecting the meet to be the star on the menu. My husband had the rib eye steak but it didn’t have any flavor. The bread was also old and hard which is why it was heat up but not enough to make it eatable. Lastly the lava cake was not a lava cake but a chocolate cake with ice cream. As a professional lava cake eater, it was disappointing. A little more attention to the food would be great. Also an upgrade to the decoration would make it rock.
Edward’s is the best steakhouse in Jersey City. I had the filet and it was perfectly juicy, hot, and needed no sides or sauces to make it really pop. The ambiance is great— there’s a bar downstairs by a few tables, and then an upstairs dining room that feels like your Jersey City neighbors’ living room. There’s also a great drink selection, and a super kind staff!
A perfect spot for a date night—exactly what we were looking for! We visited for Valentine's Day and were thrilled to find a full menu instead of just a prix fixe option.

This is a fantastic place for a lovely meal. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious!
