Food and customer service were excellent. I like the TV closed. It was not particularly disabled friendly because the main entrance is back and requires stairs, but there are wheelchair accessible spaces on the front door. The owner/manager is attentive and incredibly friendly to their staff. She was eager to help her staff and has always addressed her with her name. I appreciate that they have no use of plastics and even use paper straws. The food was good with huge portions and delicious. Found this little vintage-vibe nook in Pennsylvania, Not sure if it’s family-run but it sure gives you that vibe; Especially since every server and cashier is so inviting and incredibly nice. They do just that, make you feel at home. So if you’re out of town like I am (Texas here! , don’t feel intimidated, it’s your dining area away from home. The queue for your food to arrive is about 30 minutes after you sit down but it is definitely worth it, bring your family and friends to make time pass by; or come alone and sit right in front of the show. My favorite breakfast place! This local jewel is charming and filled with friendly faces. It is small but they are efficient; they sit quickly and you never have to wait long for your food. I started coming here in 2013 during college and I'm happy to be back in the area so I can eat here again. The food is consistent and always delicious. All I tried was great, but you can never go wrong with a classic special like Eggs N’at or Ironworker. Make sure to get the domestic pommes and a pancake! The servers are wonderful, friendly people and very attentive. If you visit Moon Township or live here and have not yet been, you need to check it out!
Had the most beautiful brunch near my hotel and totally worth it. A small place to get rid of your morning. A little extra wait to get space and get the food, but absolutely worth the wait. I go the pumpkin cake and the harvest omelette with a cup of black coffee. Everything was delicious perfect start to my day!! Fast and friendly service. We chose the outdoor option, even if there are indoor restaurants. The terrace was beautiful and it was mostly shielded by bugs. The free coffee was served in sweet eclectic cups. The French toast was thick and very hearty. They also serve funny specials, like birthday cake pancakes.
WHOOOAAA! THIS is the real diner-deal!! Absolutely the best fine breakfast I've had in years. Omelets were huge and had generous, fresh ingredients. Pancake was cooked perfectly with fresh blueberries. Gravy was creamy and peppery. Potatoes were bursting with flavor. Just wow!!
I’m not too crazy about pancakes but since there were so many reviews about them I had to try them. They were the BEST pancakes I’ve ever had . Good coffee and great staff. Jen was my server, she was attentive, efficient, and kind. I will diffidently be going back.
