Went here on a Sunday, they were EXTREMELY short staffed. Given that it was a Sunday after the thunderstorm, they were probably busier than they expected. They had lots of dine in guests as well as lots of takeout orders because people were out of electricity in the neighborhood. The meal itself took a long time to come and the flavors were decent. We got the Trifecta, the French Benny and the Baja Benny. The amount of Pico on the Benny could be more and they should've served more than just a thin slice of cantaloupe with the breakfasts. The one server who was working was very efficient and did a great job trying to get everyone seated, taking their orders, serving coffees, serving the meals...
Delivery order was a COMPLETE ripoff... accidentally ordered from here instead of my usual place... BIG MISTAKE.... HUGE!!!Order from a different location so you'll get your money's worth.Here's my problems:1. No toast included... was supposed to be 6 slices.... that's just lazy service.2. Two fruit cups that were part of the special I ordered had EXACTLY 10 blueberries and 2 cut-up strawberries TOTAL... that's just cheap.3. Asked for red onions on a blt order and for the home fries to be well done... shouldn't have wasted my time typing those things requests because it competed ignored.Do yourself a favor and order from the Shepard/ Victoria Park location... you will actually get your money...
The Best Restaurant in Thornhill. I have never encountered a better dining establishment in this area. The customer service is top-notch, the portion sizes are generous, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Waitresses Joyce, Diane, Gina, and Paris are always attentive to ensure your coffee cup never runs dry. Chefs Andreus and Nick make sure you leave satisfied. The restaurant comfortably accommodates 50 guests without feeling crowded, and I have never had to wait for a table. The establishment is impeccably clean with a diverse selection of breakfast options, from cereal to omelettes, eggs with bacon, ham, or sausages, and waffles or pancakes. I give this restaurant a 5-star rating.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the service is generally good. There are times when they get really busy and one waitress is overwhelmed trying to attend to the whole restaurant. The head chef, "Red," does a great job. On weekends, they have extra staff after 9am which helps. Occasionally, they bring in a young boy from their Warden location who assists the girls and is attentive in refilling coffee cups. The food is always fresh and never greasy. Both Anna and Maroon have delightful personalities and are always friendly and respectful towards their customers.
2019/06/03<br/ Today was Toasted Western Day in our family, so three of us headed to Eggsmart for something eggy for lunch. It was getting close to 1 pm, so the main rush was over. <br/ <br/ SWBMO and I both had Toasted Western Sandwiches, which were proper Westerns with ham, onion and green pepper. I would have swapped their home fries for a salad, but there upcharge of more than $3 seemed a bit steep. <br/ <br/ Our server threw in a few corny jokes into the mix. Overtake pleasant meal.
Before heading downtown for the Board Games for Nepal event to support earthquake relief efforts, Herman and I decided to have brunch at Eggsmart. Despite passing by the restaurant numerous times last year, this was my first time dining there. Surprisingly, on this rainy Sunday morning, the restaurant was quite crowded with lots of patrons. It was a full house at one point, showing that Eggsmart is a popular spot for many.
The staff of this breakfast restaurant is simply amazing. Super friendly and food is served with a smile. Anything wrong with your order and they are quick to fix no question asked. Watching people come in as we are, they turned out to be regulars who knew the staff like close friends. Very good place, recommended .. A+
