Eifelstubchen - Réserver une table

We stopped for a simple lunch and both selected a schnitzel "Weiner Art", though we had hesitated over the menu of the day which included a soup and a schnitzel with a sauce. The waitress took the time to help us make our choice, even popping out before we finalised our order with a sample of two sauces for us to try. I don't ever remember this in a restaurant before :-). Within a few minutes of placing our order the food was brought out accompanied by two sauces 'on the side', though we had finally ordered only one, the other being offered 'on the house', a really nice and unexpected touch. The service was friendly and the schnitzels deliciously fresh. I understand why this restaurant though relatively small is getting good reviews. Well done!

I had a very good and taste farelle and my husband had the Snitzel a la creme. Both dishes came with a very nice and varied salad and price per dish was about 12 euros. The ladies were friendly even though our German was very limited.

During the week we stayed at Monschau we dined twice in this restaurant. The food was okay but the owners were not very friendly. When I reserved they even snapped at me.

Friends and I stopped for lunch at Eifel-Stubchen and had a great experience. Our server was friendly and helpful and the schnitzel was very tender and tasty.

Very reasonably priced, fabulous dinner, really gorgeous food. Generous portion sizes and super friendly staff.
