My made a last minute booking at Quartier prior to lockdown for dinner. We had a look on the website at the menus ahead of time but were disappointed to see a substantially reduced (and quite basic) menu being served when we arrived. I ordered...sea bass with risotto which, when it was brought over, was dismally presented, burnt on top, and unbelievably bland. I wanted to get the attention of a waiter to at least ask for some black pepper to try and improve things but despite there being plenty of staff around, I couldn't get the attention of anyone during the entire meal and no one approached us to ask how our meal was. I went there , as a guest , for lunch and a meeting.The decor is pleasant and there are reasonable views. I also found it to be a decent place to do a bit of work and discuss the issues we were concerned with in our line of work. Wireless Internet connectivity was a little slow at times though and needs attentionService was efficient and quick. We drank only soft drinks but the bar looked interesting and I would not be averse to returning for something a little stronger on an evening.From a food point of view we did just have a light lunch but my Cobb Salad was excellent.There were more substantial and tempting options available. Disappointing. Had the tasting menu and the food was forgettable at best. The service unfortunately wasn't much better. No menu provided, only told what was being put in front of us for half the courses. First drink arrived after finishing the course and no...one thought to ask how our meal was at the end, but that may be because my face and demeanour didn't hide my disappointment. May have been an off day or serving as I certainly don't understand the positive reviews after what I experienced
This is the second time we have eaten at this restaurant, both on a Group On deal. The last visit was to have the taster menu (5 delicious courses) which was sublime. There is so much attention to detail, not just with the food, but with the whole restaurant. Even the wine glasses were at the perfect temperature for a lovely bottle of red.We were both full by the end of the meal. The portions were a perfect size. Altogether a lovely evening. Wish we'd bought two group on vouchers!

I recently went to this restaurant for a business lunch for the first time as a guest. I was really impressed by the location, the service, and the high quality of the food, and I plan on returning in the future. For my meal, I chose the Beetroot cured salmon, followed by the Surf and Turf (fillet beef and lobster), and finished with the chocolate bomb. While the chocolate bomb was a bit underwhelming, overall it was a delicious meal. The service was excellent.
We visited this restaurant as part of a group Groupon deal. We received a very warm welcome from the charming staff and were impressed by the whole building and dining area. The food was fantastic, delicious, and beautifully presented. The champagne was flowing freely and overall we left very happy. We would not hesitate to go back or recommend it to others.
very close to liverpool street station sits on the eighth floor with terrace with access via a glass lift.The food was amazing beautifully cooked and presented.Staff were friendly and attentive particularly enjoyed one waiters french accent.Clean and comfortable atmosphere.,Really would recommend this gem
Went with several colleagues and had a very pleasant evening. Food was very good although red meat not quite cooked to everyone's liking. Lots of chances on wine list at very reasonable prices. Starters Deserts were of high quality as was the location service, staff were very professional.
