Eiscafe Cascata

Well, the title says it all really. Situated in the lovely canal-side square surrounded by flower boxes full of blooms, a fountain tinkling away and the quite mummer of people enjoying their drinks and/or meals Eiscafe Cascata offers one of the largest selections of ice-creams,...pancakes and cakes I've ever seen. We enjoyed our coffees, espresso, coke and ever so slightly sparkling water along with our cake, pancake and ice-creams (mine was gloriously laced with alcohol) all served by a charming young man who delivered our order swiftly in spite of the very large number of people around (there was a local orchestra setting up outside the church who played some lovely music to accompany our delicious ices). Have to say..all together it scored me some huge points with the girl-friend; thanks Eiscafe Cascata. p.s the alcohol ice creams are heavenly

Located right on the esplanade overlooking the cataract in the center of the old town, Cascata is an experience not to be missed. Sit at one of the outdoor tables and browse through the menu of ice cream cococtions. Each one is a work of...art and delicious to eat as well. There is Spaghetti ice cream with red strawberry sauce and candy sprinkles of simulated cheese. They have sunny side up eggs made of ice cream with apricot yolks. They offer schnitzels, pizzas, fish,and even roses all made out of ice cream and various fruits. Wonderful to see and even better to eat.

cascata is located directly on the esplanade with a view of the katarakt in the center of the old town and is an experience that you should not miss. put on one of the tables in the free and browse through the menu with icecream. everyone is a work of.

perfect location in the center of saarburg, a lot of choice, delicious ice cream, which is beautifully presented, just a little more expensive. all in all highly recommended for a stop at a warm or not so warm day

just perfect. wonderful selection of ice cream, to take with or to eat and go out, other desserts and drinks too. you can't ask
