I've been to Herford twice in the last few years to visit family and on each visit have been to Piccolli more than once (each visit has only been for days The location is fantastic right in the heart of the town centre,...in the beautiful square. You can sit out in the square if the weather is good and there are umbrellas and blankets available. The service is great extremely efficient, friendly and polite and each member of staff who served us on each visit spoke some English to fill in the gaps in my German. The food is amazing. My husband and I have just returned from a day break in Herford from England and ate at Piccolli several times. We've been to Herford times now and eaten here loads. The majority of staff are friendly and helpful, the service is efficient....I try my best to speak German when we visit Herford but it is basic, the majority of staff here compensate with good English. The range of food on offer is fantastic, it feels like there's something for everyone from snacks to full meals, healthy food to junk food, hot and cold choices, savoury and sweet and a wide range of drinks to match (including alcohol-free cocktails). Eiscafe Piccoli has a fantastic selection of dishes to offer, with a delightful range of cuisines to choose from. It is an ideal establishment providing service for breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, ice cream, drinks, you name it! The buffet breakfast on a Sunday exceeded...expectations. There was a vast and constant supply of fresh and tasty products, never leaving you with an empty plate. The family who own it are always around working incredibly hard and so friendly you really feel at home. I would highly recommend taking a seat in the square and making the most of Piccolis inviting menu.

We stay in herford for a week and we went here days for lunch after site seeing and shopping and we tasted some lovely food and the spaghetti u got lots in the bowl and the hot spicy burgers are very tasty and the...staff are very friendly and speak English.price was very good for food u got.thay serve lovely ice cream aswell.beers was good price.u can sit inside or outside.xxx

This ice cream café is lovely for a family mooch on a sunday afternoon in the summer great prices, lovely ice cream with a great range to choose from. They also have an area to sit outside and have your icecream, we often take...the dog and he also enjoys an icecream
