I'm regular in the ice grub. Anyone who likes good beer and a rustic atmosphere is right here. The food portions were not huge, rather medium-sized, but somehow exactly fitting. In any case, it is recommended to reserve a table a few days before, because it is always very full and festivals are celebrated where several large tables are booked. Parking is possible on the road, but not too extensive. If you have the opportunity to arrive by train, the station "Roman Theater is just around the corner.
Eisgrub Bräu is absolutely recommended. A very beautiful old location in which the self-breaded beer can be enjoyed. But also the super cheap and delicious breakfast is not to be despised. Only the beer smell in the early morning must be stopped. The beer is my absolute favorite and should everyone have tried once. This is supposed to be partially refined with new wine. But to what extent I can't say that. To find out, you can also take a tour of the in-house brewery.
The absolute highlight is, of course, the even roasted beer, which is available for example in a 5 liter tower for under 30€. But the pigshaxe is also highly recommended for just 10€. Especially on weekends, you should reserve in advance, as it is often very full despite many seating inside and outside.
I was there for breakfast. This was very tasty and also very favorable. There were also more defiant things at the buffet for choice and the service was very friendly. The ambience corresponds to a beer room and supposedly, I'm not a beer drinker, tastes the self-fried beer in the ice grub very well.
