My husband and I visited this restaurant one day during the summer and I've been meaning to write a review ever since. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, but my favorite dish was definitely the Al pastor tacos. We used to live in San Diego and the Al pastor tacos there are the best we've ever had, but El Asadero's version was just as amazing! The owner is friendly and laid-back, and was happy to recommend dishes from the extensive menu. The location may be hidden away, but the food is definitely worth seeking out.
I made a mistake when ordering through DoorDash, but the restaurant was kind enough to personally deliver the food to me. I am a truck driver and was out of state at the time, while my wife has knee problems and couldn't pick up the order herself. The staff at this restaurant are truly amazing. Special thanks to Luis for going above and beyond to help us out.
We live nearby and we're taking a walk, they were very friendly to us, canned sodas our to expensive, payed close to $3.00, dropped some rice, thought they would be cool and give us another free dish but no but ya could be nicer at accidents, also a bee went into our soda, thought they would replace it but had to pay another close to $3.00
I cannot express to you how upset I am that I didn't know about this place before now. My boyfriend and I have tried almost every one of their specialty tacos, they are all amazing. This will become a weekly/bi-weekly visit. Thank you for a new favorite!

Amazing Tijuana style tacos. Also their cochinita taco is delicious, it comes in a blue corn Homemade tortilla with pickled onions. Good seating area, clean restrooms, and great customer service.
I came here like a year ago and since then and now it changed, the torta was not good it was so dry barely added guacamole and the asada fries was so hard like if it was old... Never again.
The staff was friendly, the location was clean, and the food was delicious. Ordered the burrito with the green salsa on the side and jamica.
