we were in the opposite direction and wanted to take only one refreshment. in the early afternoon the terrace was almost completely occupied with good weather, but we had luck getting another table. the waiter was quick to take our desire at the table. a few minutes later asked a second waiter after our request. the vote could be a little better. the best sold drinks were then delivered quite quickly. all drinks had the right temperature and were in order. so a second round was ordered despite the slightly higher prices. the location of restaurants near the galopprennbahn is good. Great location near the Wild Park/Golf Course. Nice ambience inside with outside tables that unfortunately overlook the parking lot. We had the paella for 2 which was one of the best we have had. The menu is in German with no English available. We asked our waiter for a one hot and one cold tapas. He suggested the gambas (shrimp) which is also on the paella. His English was good, but not all that helpful.The sangrias were OK. Brought us our check before asking if we wanted dessert--which we did. It was clear that we would be the last to leave the restaurant. We were tired afted a long day of driving and we did not want to get picky. A very unfriendly service. There was a misunderstanding on the order: we were 2 adults + 1 child and we ordered 2 meats + 1 salad, the waiter understood 3 meats + 1 salad. In any other restaurant, whatever the cause of the mistake, customer is king and the restaurant would charge only 2 meats. In that place, they charged us fully even if, of course, we couldn't eat all food served. For sure, we will never come back, although we live in Dusseldorf near this restaurant (probably the waiter thought that we were tourists and he didn't care).
Ich hatte einen unterhaltsamen Besuch und saß gemütlich im Außenbereich. Auf einen Platz musste ich nicht warten und der Service war schnell und nett. Bestellt hatte Ich mir einen warmen Apfelstrudel, welcher meinen kleinen Appetit gut stillen konnte und angenehm süß war. Im Ganzen ist es wert hier einen Halt einzulegen.
