this is a great place! generous atmosphere, excellent eating, friendly staff and the owners come out and mix them with and even bring them to their eating and drinks! eating is fresh, lush, plentiful and everything goes well with the Latin music and decor! they also have a really nice bar with authentic Caribbean drinks. definitely my favorite new latin restaurant and I don't have to eat all the way to chicago for great authentic latin / caribbean!
On top of that, I'm quite picky about my alcoholic drinks, but their guava cocktails were spot on! If I hadn't been so full, I would have definitely wanted to have more! The music was just loud enough to create a tropical vibe without being overwhelming. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and ready to enjoy my meal. El Burén is definitely a place I highly recommend!
The restaurant was fantastic! The food was delicious, and I don't know what they put in their sauces, but I wanted to eat them with a spoon. We ordered the pollo jamaiquino, and it was finger-licking good. The el jibarito sandwich with pork had a nice texture, but the flavor was a bit plain. Overall, I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be coming back!
Absolutely delicious! The owner is incredibly friendly, and the prices are just right. We tried the ruckhuh, soup, empanadillas, stuffed tostones, and the jibarito steak sandwich. The flan and cheesecake were out of this world. I will definitely be coming back. And don't miss the mango mojito—it's amazing! Réservez une table maintenant
I had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, huge portions, good service. I will be back when I visit my hometown again. I had the Rasta Pasta chicken Shrimp. Others ordered kan kan and jerk chicken. All was good along with the chips green sauce is a hit!
Had a wonderful date night! Ester gave us fabulous recommendations, and the food was delicious! Especially enjoyed the stuffed plantains appetizer, sangria and the jerk chicken.
Went here with friends for dinner and drinks. We had a blast. Our server was friendly and able to answer our questions. Meals and drinks were excellent.
