El Cafe De La Placa

We had some excellent food at this cafe. We had just been on a kayaking trip nearby and went in search of food and drinks and it really didn’t disappoint. We had a selection of tapas and the kids had crepes. The food was made to order of high quality and absolutely delicious and the drinks were cold. It is set in a beautiful little tranquil square in the middle of the town. It is an independent cafe and the owner was pleasant and gave good service. It was also very good value for money. Couldn’t recommend more

Great location in the small traffic-free town square. We just had coffee so can't really comment on the food but what we saw being brought to other tables looked good. If I hadn't been so intent on re-visiting the nearby Fonda Mitja restaurant would probably have had lunch here. Our coffee was good quality and inexpensive. Efficient amiable service.

Hemos ido a comer al mediodia, estava todo buenissimo, yo me pedi la hamburguesa de pollo (no recuerdo el nombre) y me encanto. El servicio super bien y precio tambie. Ademas tenian cerveza alhambra de la roja k po aki kuesta encontrar. Restaurante recomendable.

Don't have too big expectations, it is a simple cafe-restaurant where you can enjoy simple plates such as hamburgers, pizzas, tapas, or a variety of catalan traditional big toasts. Price is OK, in accordance with service and quality.

Perfect little coffee shop in the square. Full of charm and atmosphere and they do great coffee too. Brilliant just to sit and relax whilst watching the world go by....
