El Campesino - Réservation de table

The atmosphere is nice, music not too loud, the staff friendly and accommodating. The food was okay. I'm vegetarian, and while they offered a number of combinations, there was nothing that stood out. Food came hot and quickly, taste was on the bland side. I cannot speak to the specialties on the menu, though the grilled entree a fellow had at the next table smelled good. I had come here two years ago while passing through, and I gave them a second chance. On the whole, a good restaurant but I hoped for a bit more.

I'm vegetarian, and while they offered a series of combinations, there was nothing to stand out. eating came hot and fast, the taste was on the side of the country. I can't talk to the specialties on the menu, although the grilled curly had a keerl had the next table good smell. I was here two years ago when I came through, and I gave them a second chance. overall, a good restaurant, but I hoped a bit more.

This was our first time here. The servers were very polite. The food was fresh and in good quantities. We are vegetarians and there were multiple vegetarian options available. The beans were a bit runny, but the vegetables in our vegetarian fajitas were plentiful and delicious. The prices was a bit higher than normal, but the food portion size was good. Overall, it was a great atmosphere and good experience. I would go back again.

Staying in Altoona to visit Horseshoe Curve and was in the mood for Mexican food. Reviews on Google were good so we decided to stop in. The staff were very welcoming and our server was awesome. I had the Cinco De Mayo. That thing could have fed a whole family but man was it good! Their salsa is also really really good. Will definitely stop back next time I’m in Altoona. the best Mexican restaurant in altoona! eating is always fresh and tasty. friendly staff and a lively atmosphere. I almost always get the Quesadilla superst. many different salsas to try and the guac pico de gallo is full of taste. great place to go with the family, we love el campesino!

The food was delicious, as always. However, we were missing refried beans on at least 2 plates. A taco was missing from the combo plate. And the order of queso was also missing. They did bring the missing items but it was after we had finished our lunch.

I had the chicken enchiladas w/queso, it was very good, great flavor, clean, tender tortillas, and the rice was great too. The salsa is fresh and so were the chips. I also order a quesadilla but it will be lunch tomorrow. Very good.

fantastic authentic Mexican food. friendly, big parts. You're not going anywhere else after you tried. Accessibility: the wheelchair access is also easy, with enough space between tables for dads chair and parking directly in front. Réservez une table maintenant

First time ordering, very pleased with quality of food and portions. Great taste, order was accurate. Tacos, Enchilada, chips and salsa very good. Reasonable prices even for DoorDash.
