What a lovely place to stay if you enjoy getting out of the cities and away from the tourists. It is a bit interesting to find. Up, up and away, finally down a small dirt road you find this hotel/restaurant nestled in farmland. It is beautifully maintained and the staff could not have been more friendly. I would imagine that if you are like us, once you get up there you have no desire to descend looking for a place to eat, which is fine because this restaurant is highly rated and obviously a favorite with locals. El Celler De La Guardia is a diamond in the crown of Montserrat. Our day was spent in the stunning monestry then returned hungry to this beautiful family run and owned hotel. Sit and watch the sun melt into the mountains as the family present a feast of home produced dishes that will leave you astonished how you managed to consume them all with gusto. Have to return.
Íbamos haciendo el Camino De Santiago y nos recomendaron que paráramos allí de camino a Igualada. Un acierto! Solo paramos para beber y picar algo pero el trato fue fantástico y la comida genial. Pedimos torradas de butifarra y fuet. Buenísimo! Ojalá hubiese sido nuestra parada para comer a mediodía. Súper recomendable.
Fuimos a comer en familia y fue inmejorable!! La comida fantástica, las vistas, el servicio, el ambiente, todo! Hay menú cerrado pero si alguien tiene alguna intolerancia etc te dan alternativas. La relación calidad-precio muy adecuada y aunque está un poco escondido y cuesta llegar, vale la pena! Repetiremos seguro!!!

Vam anar per primera vegada al començament d'aquest mes de setembre. Vam dinar el menú, entrants i parrillada de carn inclòs postres i begudes i... molt bé, vam quedat contents i ben dinats, segur que tornarem i per suposat el recomano. Bon preu i bona qualitat.
