So glad we chose to return to El Charro on Harrodsburg RD for my husband’s birthday along with Father’s Day. As always the restaurant was shiny clean. Our waitress was most confident enthusiastic and personable. She was careful to allow us time to sip the drinks we chose and select our choices. My husband chose the fish tacos and I chose the combo of enchilada and a chile rellano. Terrific rich sauces and perfectly cooked entree items. Had the cheese cake dessert to take home. Big wow! Delicate, flaky and not overly sweet.
I've now visited two locations of this restaurant, and this one is by far the best! We ordered the enchiladas supremas, which come with four different enchiladas. While the chicken was a bit dry, the rest were excellent. Later that evening, I returned to try their asada fries and they were delicious! Both of my orders were ready when I arrived, and the service was outstanding. Thank you, Flor, for making this such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be coming back to El Charro!
