El Chico Texarkana

We were traveling to Texas on my birthday, so I wanted to go to El Chico for their wonderful tortilla soup! I was not disappointed! Our server, Traci, was already slammed with customers, but after my husband mentioned that it was my birthday, she went of her way to make sure I was celebrated! Traci, thank you for making my evening so nice with your personal attention in a crowded restaurant! We’ll be back!

Our waiter treated us like we were in a 5 star restaurant. Our tea glass was never more than half empty and he checked on us constantly. Post covid I don't expect to recieve this type of service. The food was excellent and the restaurant was clean,comfortable and accommodating. Thank you El Chico for a excellent dinning experience!

I had lunch here last week, excellent service. I sat pretty fast. Portion sizes were extra large and the price was more than fair. Would recommend this place.

Rich flavors and fresh Mexican food. We had a little sip first, but the manager was good for it. We would like to return for good taste and friendly service.
