We haven't been here for many years but as we were nearby we decided to revisit an old haunt. It wasn't how I remembered, it looked a bit tired inside, with a smallish menu, so we ordered fillet of chicken and fillet of pork, which both came with a baked potato and we ordered some espencat, which is; aubergine, pepper and onion mixed with olive oil. Oh boy were we pleasantly surprised! The taste of the meat cooked over wood, and the home made espencat were first class, hot, tender and delicious. The smokey taste worked on everything, I was sorry when it's finished. Even the potato was cooked beautifully, not in a microwave! The desserts were home made and lovely, it was a treat! Haven’t been for a while and we were a little underwhelmed. It was lovely sitting under the carob tree but we could smell the horses next door . Never noticed that before. We preordered the lamb and chose starters to share. Griddled vegetables were just mushy, and lacking any seasoning. Had to ask 4 times for balsamic to add to them. The oven baked lamb was well cooked but lacking seasoning again. No fresh herbs or garlic. Hope this was a blip as we like this restaurant.
El restaurante es el de siempre, la calidad es buena y el servicio adecuado, la carta de vinos no existe y por lo tantono se sabremos nunca los precios ni las existencias, un error.Las cocas buenas, aunque la calidad no es igual para toda la gama, los postres son caseros e industriales. Buen cafe. en mi caso pasamos calor.
Conocidísimo restaurante ubicado en el término de Gata de Gorgos. Mantiene un nivel muy alto desde hace más de treinta años. Especializado en cocas carnes y todo tipo de cocina tradicional. El ambiente es cálido. El servicio, sumamente profesional y amable, y la calidad de la cocina hace que volver sea necesario.

Restaurante de comida casera y de carne a la brasa. Tiene una gran terraza prevista para los veranos. Una zona de parking muy grande . Admiten mascotas en el restaurante.

Después de tantos años volver, y no nos decepcionó fantástica comida el personal muy amable y atentos .Volveremos
