El Cortez Mexican - Réservation de table

I ordered a Long Island ice tea cocktail, it looked like a lemonade. My sister ordered an iced tea, extra ice. It barely had ice in it. The beans had no favor to them. We ordered flour tortillas and received corn. Wait time was like we were forgotten. This finally convinced my sisters that we where not returning.

The food is excellent very authentic. I have been going here for years. They have consistently blown me away with kindness and delicious food. It is all worth the price. You will end up taking some home!! Service is friendly and attentive, even when they are busy.

Went on a Tuesday night after work and a pitcher of margaritas was like $12. Came with salsa and it was good. I got the shrimp tacos and my girlfriend got the al pastor enchiladas. Both was pretty delicious. We enjoyed our meals and will definitely go back again.

Nastiest pork burrito ever. There was a huge piece of bone/cartilage in it. My husband threw it away after 2 bites and he is not a picky eater and generally likes everything he eats. Burrito was also mostly sour cream and lettuce. It tasted really bad. Réservez une table maintenant

Showed up at 9:30 for some chips and salsa and the door was locked. Lady told me they were closed even though the restaurant's sign and website say open until 10 pm

Nice atmosphere, good food, excellent service the go to place for authentic Mexican food! Been a customer since their inception in blue island in the 1980s

Skip it. The food was pretty average, and they charged extra for everything, including some green sauce for the tacos. They charged $2.00 for a condiment.
