Love this place so much! They make everything to order so that it is always fresh. You have no problem personalizing things that are either great. Salsa Bar is free with orders and has options from super mild to crazy hot. This time I ordered a taco salad with shredded chicken and my only complaint would be so big that I couldn't finish it! Prices are appropriate for food and quality/additions.
Chicken Quesadilla (have napkins on hand...it's a tad greasy) and Pineapple Jarritos are my go to's when I hit the late night drive through here!!! Anytime I stop through the people are always friendly, food always piping hot!! I would say it's worth the late night wait you may encounter because everyone knows this is the spot to be after a good night out. ??
El Forastero delivers authentic Mexican food at affordable prices. I love their rolled tacos with guacamole cheese and Horchata. They also make fresh squeezed orange, carrot, a vampire juice (mix of carrots beets is delicious). Their serving portions are worth the price for quality food!
I like them better than their competitors. Breakfast burritos are amazing, crispy chicken tacos are divine, and the tostadas make my nethers tingle. Salsa is delicious, and rice has never been old or crunchy in all my years going here. The carne is also delicious in street tacos. Réservez une table maintenant
Fast service with large portions. Fresh chips a lot of spices. I had the #7 combo plate, 2 Burritos, rice beans could eat only one of the Burritos. So hungry I forgot to make a picture. Large number of menu options also.
Out of all the 24hr Mexican food spots in Sacramento this one has the potential to be the best burrito spot hands down only if they add lettuce, tomato's or either pico de guyo.
Eating is fine, I have better Mexican burritos and tacos. Meat was hard. Many flies in the Dinning room and kitchen. Smell of strong bleaching agent from bathrooms.
