We've been here a long time before it was El Marisco. I admit that we were not satisfied with the changes first as we were friends with the previous owners and were very regularly there. But they won us quickly and we were so happy to see how they grew and even through some growing pain. We were there Cinco de Mayo and it was packed. There were also families who celebrated graduation and resellers. Was the service slow... yes. I have to say they wanted to get up very hard. My experience at this restaurant was not as positive as I had hoped, especially given the praise I’ve heard from others. I ordered the Enchilada Super, which is supposed to come with four enchiladas, but I only received three small ones with very little red sauce, along with a side of rice. I also ordered a tostada, which the owner mentioned comes with beans, salad, tomatoes, and cheese. I added steak to mine, but there were no beans, and the corn tortilla was stale, with no cheese either. I'm not sure if I'll return after this first visit.
The food was fantastic! And their margaritas are cheap but very well done. They do not taste like other Mexican restaurants that make it with too much margarita mix or cheap tequila. We went on a Saturday during lunchtime and the service was great! I would highly recommend this restaurant!
