This restaurant is truly stunning if you're in search of a picturesque dining experience. The food was expertly prepared, perfectly seasoned, and had everything it needed. I sampled a tamale for the first time, and I really enjoyed it. It's an excellent spot for group outings since they readily split the bill by person, making the end of the meal hassle-free. I would definitely give them a five-star rating.
I really enjoyed the soccer game playing in the background; it gave the place such a cozy atmosphere. I had the chance to share birria tacos and tacos dorados with my date, and both were fantastic—especially when I dipped the tacos dorados into the birria consomé! The horchata was just alright, but overall, the ambiance was ideal for a sweet, relaxed date. I would definitely return!
This seems to be quite an authentic Mexican Resturant. It is family run, welcoming and colorful. There is a pretty and lighted garden area outback too. The enchiladas, fajitas, nachos and horchata were quite tasty. They also made us virgin margaritas in a pitcher. Really laid back easy place to be. I will go back.
The food was quite delicious. However, I had an issue with the taco pricing and the stark contrast between the picture and the actual taco. I visited this restaurant on the first weekend of summer, and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and entertaining. The food was almost Michelin-star quality and came in generous portions. Overall, I would rate my experience as phenomenal!
I've only tried their Chilaquiles and Elote, but both have been consistently delicious. The dish is spicy yet packed with flavor, and the verde sauce is perfect. My favorite meat option for this dish is the short ribs.
Bring some quarters for parallel parking in front of the restaurant. There are some really nice outdoor seating on the back of the restaurant. The streets of Mais, Quesadillas and Tacos were really good!
The first time El Matador 2 tries and it was delicious! I had the little carnitas tacos for $1.50 each and the Sopa de res. Come back! Réservez une table maintenant
Delicious! I love coming here for Taco Tuesday. The pulled pork is my favorite. You can't beat the value or the quality!
