I went on a Sunday, it was crowded. The items are expensive now. They are also made cheap. The sweet items are mediocre. A day or two past being good. The food is well there are better choices available. Parking is difficult, and traffic is terrible. The Mercado has been around for years, but customer service is not something you will ever write home about. There are better places to go to for brunch or dinner.

Very small place, vendors for the most part carry same/similar items...pretty common to hear first timers say is that it? I went for a specific item last minute yes I found it. Second level is kinda odd there 's food, homewares, a bakery, these kind of botanica shops...dislike passing by the meat place idk kinda smells weird...for a place that wants to be touristy their bathrooms are so outdated dirty.

Lots of great stuff to look thru and shop for those hard gift ideas...and If you missing home or reminiscing the old days at grandma's in Mexico...then this is the place to visit...Music.. The Food ...The artwork ..The knickknacks and cultural toys or garments ..plenty to see ...and grab an ice cream or the Fresas Con Crema...Bombay.

There were too many people in the restaurant and it felt hot, almost like a swamp. It seemed like the heaters were on and the atmosphere was very unorganized. People were bumping into each other and some were even stealing toilet paper from the women's restroom. I definitely will not be going back.

I can't believe the restaurants on the third floor have still not reopened since the Covid shutdown. We ended up eating at La Cocina. The food was good, but they should have opened the third floor by now for the Mariachi show.
