El Nuevo Parian Mexican

The first server was not very attentive to our table , it was around 12:00 pm and it was pretty empty . And all of the servers were sitting cross from our table and like 5 times we wave at them and nothing . The food in my personal opinion and my coworkers, was not good taste and expensive. The portions are good size but as you can see in my pictures , we didn’t even finish our taco orders and the rest of the food . It was either too salty or not good flavor : . I don’t mind paying a higher price from one place to another place when it comes to tacos , but the flavor , taste and portions needs to be justifying the money I’m paying for ;

El Parian is absolutely the best fast-casual Mexican I’ve had in the state. This hidden gem was recommended to me by a few Mexican-American friends. It’s a popular gathering space for the local Mexican-American community and although the menu includes many items that are catered to the American taste, they still have more authentic offerings. The food is well seasoned, fresh, and delicious. The service is friendly and prompt. El Parian is definitely worth the trip across the river for the city-dwellers!

I read such glowing reviews of this place I was expecting something unique. However, it seemed like just a standard Mexican restaurant. The food was fine, much like many other restaurants in the area. I wasn't a fan of the thick, tough chips, but everything else was acceptable.Food: 3/5

We love this place! Enchiladas Poblanas (with mole sauce! is sooo good! Hubby always gets fajitas and a margarita, and loves it. Great service from hard working staff! Atmosphere isn't special, but the food and service are worth it.Food: 5/5
