When our food finally arrived, the encebollado was decent, but my dish – shrimp chaulafan – was incredibly bland. It was practically flavorless, and the only hint of taste came from some peas mixed in the rice. Upon taking my first bite, I noticed that the rice lacked the traditional ingredients you would expect in a chaulafan. I believe they have three variations: house chaulafan, shrimp chaulafan, and jumbo shrimp chaulafan, and the server mentioned that the only difference is the type of shrimp.

The place looks a little run down for the prices but the portions are large and the food is okay. There are many better Ecuadorian spots in queens. The batidos are good both mango and mora. The food was all salty and nothing too extraordinary. The bandera was all mixed together no separation with parts of it being not good and some parts good. The place really upset me towards the end. I was going in for a small bite since we had eaten a little beforehand. The waitress lied to me repeatedly telling me dishes were small so I over ordered, she tried to hustle me for bottled water, there were many shady people walking in trying to sell you things and the cherry on the top was the cc fees charge...
I was really disappointed with my Camaron order, which cost over $17.00. It was a take-out order, and I was surprised to find only 5 small fried shrimp on top, with an overwhelming amount of French fries. It's as if they thought I was just ordering fries! What's the point of having shrimp on the menu if I'm just getting a plateful of fries? I felt like it was a complete waste of money. The restaurant's advertisements were completely misleading compared to what I received. This was my first time trying this place, and I don't think I'll be returning. I usually enjoy exploring different cuisines, but this experience really fell short for me.
Excellent food served at reasonable prices. Service was good too. I visited with my son and we really enjoyed our Arepas de Yuca and the Jalea de Mariscos for two people. Cafe con leche was yummy. I would definitely visit again.

Delicious Ecuadorian food! Don't be fooled by the name, they're not just coffee. I love coming to Jackson Heights to sample everything from encebollado to ceviches. YUM
Good is not good. Salty.They also charge you if pay with credit or debit card, which the business is supposed to take care of
The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and it's the perfect spot to explore and enjoy your evening.
Love it here!! I normally only order only from this restuarant for my Ecuadorian food. Great taste!
