TERRIBLE SERVICE! Ordered dinner for my 81-year-old grandmother and the El Pollo Loco on Diamondbar Blvd, who on their website, advertising that they deliver *not reveal they deliver thru a 3. Party* I told myself there was nothing they could do when my order was delivered, but HAD NOT BEEN DELIVERED. The GM Michael (who was very unprofessional) said that he only as it is that they 't reach the driver, they can 't refund my order and resend, nor can they give me the tip. Why should I type a driver who was unable to read the correct address/not the direction provided? My other bone is the fact that El Pollo Loco does not empower its management team to make things right for the customer. This...
I ordered a 16-piece meal with the mixed pieces, about 4 dollars more than thigh variety. I ordered beans as a side, everything to get out. When I came home, I had rice instead of beans and thighs instead of the mixed pieces I paid for. When I called the store to let them know that they have charged my order wrong and over me, they are too busy to answer the phone. This is the Diamond Bar location. You need to unpack yours or there and check it before you go. Don't assume they have it right.
Worst in the chain I 've found yet. Franchisee cheats on size of chickens...comes out overcooked and dry-as-bone nasty see pics of tiny wishbone and wing. Wing was skin over bone...so they threw on another. I guess they thought two un- eatable wings was better than one un-eatable wing. Da! Salty to the max...didn 't really even taste like Polo Loco 's recipe. Mac and cheese was watered down soup. Very disappointing! No Jalipanios! Asian peppers instead. On my top 10 Worst restaurant list.
Dedicated hard working staff. Keven who should be in his early 20?s really went all the way to ensure that I?ve a selection of my choices. Being from NY he took time to know me and suggest food per my palate. Hard working, dedicated and sincere staff like him make business establishments successful.
