Fast forward a month, I came back and waited at the counter for 10 minutes. When I attempted to order their special, which is available until 2 PM, I was told it was too late at 2:05 PM. There were no other customers around, yet they made me wait and then denied my order, denying me a $5 discount that I would have received if I'd approached the counter just moments earlier. I've always tipped generously and have been a regular customer, but their cold attitude continues to deter me. At first, I excused this behavior, assuming they were just tired or uncomfortable due to the heat without air conditioning. The food here is fantastic! We used to order for our team at Nationstar/Mr. Cooper, and the food was always exceptional. Now that I've moved to Las Vegas, I happened to be in town and nearby, so I had to stop by. I tried a carnitas taco, a chicken taco, a chicken wing, and some chips and salsa, and everything was delicious! The flavor is outstanding, thanks to the cooking over mesquite charcoal. The location isn't the best, but it's definitely worth a visit. I just noticed they also have a location in Lake Forest, which is great news! This is a place you have to try!

I have been here for 49minutes and my order is still not ready. If i would have gotten a heads up no chicken i would be fine with that. But i was never told oh theres no chicken. Not coming back to this place. Came in and tables are dirty and it was empty and cashiers were just talking in the corner.

Came in asked for the lunch special that is 7.99 and she charge me the regular price she told me she didn't have the special no more when is from 11am- 2pm I came in @1:30pm didn't want to argue over a meal but why have a special and they charge regular price
You can't beat the taste and price of their chicken, rice, charro beans, and salsa. It’s my go-to spot for feeding groups. The takeout is always ready for pickup! Eat your heart out, El Pollo Loco!
amazing food, I always get their family size platters for my family. Will continue to give business to these guys at any of their locations. The food is really tasty.
