I really enjoy Del Taco. The flavors are more refined (not necessarily authentic) and less greasy. Living in Southern California, I’ve come to prefer it over other options, though there aren’t many locations in Southeast Michigan. The menu can be overwhelming due to the many choices available. It’s disappointing that the deluxe taco was removed from the menu. Like everything else, Mexican fast food is getting more expensive. The locations are often busy, and the service can struggle to keep up. Still, I’ll choose Del Taco whenever I find one nearby.
At the corner of Main and 7-Eleven, there’s a Del Taco that was remodeled in a way that discourages customers from staying. They offer no restrooms or dine-in options for paying customers. When I asked about the major changes, I was told it’s to reduce problems and increase profits. Please, Del Taco, consider leaving our community and take your disrespectful attitude with you! Jack in the Box now owns and operates this formerly family-owned Del Taco chain.
Bean and cheese burrito made it (bold )with green sauce ?. No green sauce , no sour crème , beans looked supper dry and not really any fries. Forgot my cheese quesadilla , tortillas were not warmed at all everything was cold . Missing tacos horribleenough to write a review. Felt like a 12 year old made my food. Change your staff or train them better. This place use to bedecent. Go to a different dell taco.
I had a fantastic experience at Del Taco today, thanks to two employees who did an outstanding job. They got my order perfect and served everyone efficiently. I want to recognize them for their hard work. Even though I live in Irvine, this Del Taco is my favorite spot, and I always value the service here. It’s refreshing to see such dedicated staff, and I felt it was worth sharing!

Many of the negative reviewers seem to miss the point that at Del Taco, you should expect average service and the opportunity to get 12 value tacos filled with surprisingly dry, budget-friendly beef for under $10. They don't recognize the appeal in this straightforward experience.
I recently ordered a couple of tacos, and they were packed with meat and cheese. The staff working after 11 PM certainly delivered a great vibe. Everything I got was fresh off the grill and piping hot in the Sheeessh bag.
Cold food the last 2 times I've gone and today I found a hair in my burrito. I get that it's fast food, it's not supposed to be gourmet, but food safety is non-negotiable. I will not be going back.
