I am so happy that Avila's is open again for dinner in! I had lunch there today. They don't have the full menu available yet, it's best to ask about any favorite dish. First come first serve for tables, but they have plenty. The salsa is as good as I remember, and the chicken soup is just the best. Full bar and great margaritas. Always a great spot. Highly recommend. Only downside, the proteins are not well seasoned. Great if you're in a low salt diet, but otherwise you may need to salt up your food.
Charming atmosphere, friendly service. Chips, salsa, guacamole are among the BEST ever. Chips are thin, hot, and very fresh. I had the Sizzling Fajitas, which were picture perfect with tender beef, tomatoes, peppers and onions. My friend had a Chili Relleno and was very satisfied. I had the pleasure of eating at two different Mexican restaurants in three days. Avila's El Ranchito in Corona Del Mar was the first. I would give them 10 stars as their food was superior in every category.
I celebrated my doctor tonight at this lovely restaurant. We had a fantastic evening, and the venue was definitely one of the reasons for our enjoyable time. The waitstaff were wonderfully accommodating, the food was delicious, and my guests were very pleased. We will certainly be back for more joyful occasions. Thank you!
The best Mexican food in Corona Del Mar bar none. Always great food, The service is fantastic and there's an outdoor patio for me to bring my dog. Plenty of parking in the back and I highly recommend this incredible place to have dinner

We absolutely love El Ranchito in CDM. The traditional Mexican cuisine is always outstanding, and they make us feel like part of the family. The staff is extremely friendly, making it a true gem in the neighborhood!
The chips were stale, but I appreciated the hands-free door opener in the bathroom. However, the service frequently overlooked requests for items like extra iced tea and utensils. Additionally, the menu was dirty.

Great Hispanic fare the prices can be a bit high, but the portion sizes are wonderful and we split a fajitas with leftovers for the next day! Service was great, we really appreciated our server.
