The restaurant was expensive and the quality of the food was lacking. The Nachos Supreme did not resemble typical nachos and appeared to be made with minimal ingredients, such as tomatoes and onions, with no guacamole or Pico de gallo. The Tongue tacos had an unpleasant flavor, making me worried about the quality of the meat. The Asada tacos were mediocre at best. The orchata drink was overly sweet, to the point where I couldn't let my teenager drink it even after diluting it with water. The total bill came to $65. While the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was charming, the food did not meet my expectations as a Southern California native.
I have noticed that every time I visit this restaurant, I am charged a different price for the same menu item. The lady at the counter seems to input prices arbitrarily, as they have scratched out all menu prices. The portions have been decreasing in size while the prices continue to rise, and the overall taste and quality of the food has declined. Additionally, there is room for improvement in their customer service. I used to enjoy dining here, but I will not be returning in the future.
Went to this wonderful restaurant on Cinco De Mayo. Was greeted with kindness,, and got a table immediately. Restaurant chips salsa upon sitting. Two very large Margaritas followed... Delicious food and large portions especially the horchata, which comes in a tall deli container. Doordash orders are always accurate and the in person service is friendly.
