I recently visited El Taconazo for some tacos. The restaurant has a straightforward name and a simple concept regarding their food and portion sizes. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the size of the tacos, which were quite small and lacking in flavor. The carne asada taco I ordered was tough, dry, and bland. I found myself having to add salsa and lemon just to give it some taste. The chicken asada tacos were overly salty and heavily seasoned. Overall, my experience at El Taconazo was disappointing. I had higher expectations given the price I paid for three tacos.
We didn't have to wait at all, but unfortunately, the customer service left a lot to be desired. We ordered $60 worth of food and were given just one salsa. When I asked if chips were included, there were none in the bag. The staff didn’t greet us with smiles or any welcoming energy. I usually try to look on the bright side, but there were several unsettling experiences that felt discriminatory. It appeared that other customers received better treatment. Overall, the lack of respect we experienced was unacceptable.
My nearly $15 'Super ' carne asada burrito was a bit dry. No evidence of sour cream, pico, and ? promised on the menu. Just meat beans and rice. Oversight or miscommunication? The carne asada had the decent flavor of real steak but was chopped in a manner that rendered it on the chewy side. I 'll give them another chance.

They appear to be out of business, or moved, and no one told Yelp. We were in the area, looking for Mexican food. The Yelp reviews were good, so we headed over. At the address given there's a totally different restaurant now! That was a of 4/15/23.
