The first time I visited this restaurant, I knew I would come back just for the chance to sit by the window overlooking the ocean at a table that made it feel like we were dining above the water. The ocean view alone is worth the trip to Redondo Beach. This pier may not be as popular as Venice Beach or Santa Monica, but that's perfectly fine. There are plenty of dining options, easy access to the beach, and people fishing all day and night. El Torito is a well-liked Mexican restaurant. The food may not be exceptional, but it is tasty enough. Combined with the stunning view and great customer service, it makes for a lovely evening. My favorite dishes were the cheesecake, rice, and beans.
I'll have to give this one 5 stars since it was WAY better than their sister restaurant in Hawthorne. The only thing I would say, is that it's pretty pricey. For a group of 8 that had 4 teenagers and a child, it was close to $300 (they added gratuityand you can only use one card). And we didn't even have cocktails. But the food was tasty and the server was nice and got all ofour orders right. The salsa is ok, but ask for the hot one to get a yummier alternative. The views of the ocean are beautiful,and probably amazing during the day.
Nice little pier. Not many of the stores were open. Beautiful sunset and nice strip of beach for hanging out. The pier itself waa clean and had a few places for food, tackle bait and souvenirs. They had plently of parking and restrooms. Beautiful sunset from the beach or pier. Not much to see by way of shops so that was a little dissapointing. Nothing interactive or activities for kids to do. Nice bike path and good area for walking.
What a fabulous place! Great view, great view, good service. I don't think they had enough wait staff and it didn't seem managers were willing to step in and help. Our drinks were never filled. The food though was some of the best Mexican foodwe've ever had. It was fresh. The taco Tuesday taco bar was amazing! Shrimp was cooked perfect. Tortillas were fresh. Ask inall... We would totally return. It was so delicious.

The foodi is great. I had the Michelada to go with my meal and I have to say it was one of the best I've ever had. Top 5 for sure. If you get a seat next to the windows you're have an excellent view of the ocean while enjoying amazing food. I definitelyrecommend you check this place out.
The restaurant offers delicious food with stunning window views of Santa Monica Bay. The fajitas tacos are flavorful and moist, with a perfect portion of rice. The service is friendly, and the surrounding area is fun to explore.
Beautiful. Just couldn't find the beach but it was really nice to spend timw with my guy.Parking was free!!!!!!!!! Probably not normal but I loved it. Wish we got there a little bit earlier to catch the sunset
The restaurant is conveniently located and the customer service was very accommodating, even though we arrived close to closing time. The staff took great care of us and we had a wonderful experience.

Went for Happy Hour had the Salmon Tacos, Cucumber Jalapeno Margarita and a glass of Chardonnay. The waiter was great and the food and drinks was on point.
Went early because it gets packed. My bf and I ate and walked around. Had a great time. The ceviche was delicious ?
