I really wish the jukebox was working, but overall, it's a great place to unwind and enjoy a cold drink. I especially enjoy the board games, dart board, and memorabilia. The cardboard cutouts of Captain Kirk and Spock are a nice touch! The service was good, though the food did take a bit long to come out and it tasted like a frozen pizza. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. I appreciate that families are welcome and not looked down upon. They do not tolerate inappropriate language or visibly drunk customers. Overall, it's a fantastic spot to visit!
Really cool vibe. Staff laid back and friendly but still caters to each guest. Interesting things to play with and look at. Feels like a time warp back to your 20's at your best friend's garage that they turned into a homemade hangout/lounge... an 80's version of Cheers, Red lights just like that tabu district over in Amsterdam, sci-fi, and a whole bunch of late 70's-80's Era games to enjoy or recollect upon. Would be a great place for a first date if you are into this kind of thing
I was in town for the funeral of my father and this was his favorite bar to go to in the 70s and 80s. His name was even on the high pinball score board. I met with a few family members and we shared stories about my dad and how much he loved this place. I ordered a beer for my dad and left it on the bar in the bartender Matt I believe told me that he would leave it there all night for me. That meant so much he just doesn't even know.
This is the best bar around. They strictly follow the rules which is why it has been kept in impeccable condition for forty years. I dare you to find cleaner restrooms in any other bar, especially one with such a classic dive feel. The food is fantastic, the prices are reasonable, and they even have vegan options. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is out of this world. Réservez une table maintenant
Had a great time! The atmosphere and deco, friendliness of the staff, and the quality of the food was all great! Prices are very fair compared to other places in town. Even the drinks were very good and fair priced. And there are board games etc so there is stuff to do, not just sit. Overall a local gem, and I am thrilled to have found it. We will come again.
Really enjoyed the pizza. Came here around opening (4pm) which was pretty empty but seems like it’s more of a late evening/night spot. Enjoyed using the pinball machines and playing card games while waiting for our food. Really neat to look at the decorative pieces on the wall, especially all the Star Trek and Dolly Parton items!
We enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly staff at this restaurant. However, we were disappointed by the high prices of the food compared to the quality. The sandwiches were $11 each and we felt there are better options available for less money. The pizza was also disappointing.
Had an amazing time here with friends. Lots of card and board games to choose from as well as pinball machines around the place. The food is just as good. I had the meatball sub and the Hersey pie slice. Both prepped and served professionally by their kind servers. Réservez une table maintenant
