Elena's catered my wedding in August, and the food was outstanding! I've never particularly enjoyed buffet food at weddings, as it usually tends to be lackluster. However, Elena's was a delightful exception. Every dish was of exceptional quality and flavor! They maintained the proper temperatures, ensuring that the salads were fresh and chilled on a hot day, while the entrees were warm and cooked to perfection. With 180 guests, the buffet was managed efficiently, allowing everyone to get through in about 40 minutes. Many guests commented that it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding! I highly recommend Elena's for any large event catering in the Northern California area!
I had heard good things about this restaurant, but I was really disappointed with my order. They charge by the pound, yet the portions were underweight! To make matters worse, the woman at the front even forgot to include a large tray of food that I had pre-ordered and paid for. When I asked her to double-check everything before I picked it up, she told me I could do it myself. The staff were unpleasant to deal with, and the conversation while ordering was quite uncomfortable. I would rate their customer service as two stars. I do not recommend this place.
I've tried calling several times to ask for information and was told to contact the manager. She gave me the number and I thanked her and called the number provided. The phone kept ringing and ringing and after several rings, the same person who had just answered the previous call answered again. I asked for the manager as she told me to and she mumbled something then hung up. I've tried to call again, but she told me I need to speak to the manager. Needless to say I will not be calling back.
How can you not trim the silver skin from meat? This is supposed to be a professional catering business with head chef. As a busy working mom, I buy food from Elena's kitchen from time to time and their meat is quite disappointing. I only like their salads, side dishes, and desserts. They are not representing the Ukrainian/Russian food well.

Everything I tried was excellent. The roasted garlic potatoes were delicious, the chicken stuffed with mushrooms was fantastic, and the rice with beef was perfectly cooked. I will definitely return to sample more of the hot dishes.
I used to frequent this place even though I am not slavic. I am loving every bits and pieces as a to go food. The beet salad was soo good. The others were delicious as well!
3 stars because food is really tasty but one young English speaking lady can ruin your reputation. She's kinda rude and I felt so unwelcome there..
Delicious quality food! Tastes homemade, everyone at my party loved it! Especially the fish roll ups! Plov is to die for! I could eat it all day

Overall the food is decent here,, my mom bought fish yesterday and got really bad food poisoning. Had to go to the ER....
