Haven't been to a better cafe in a long time; spacious, quiet, classy, clean, architecturally significant; server Michael was a top pro; has all the makings of a boutique hotel that can be BEST IN TEXAS; needs to be the family destination for weekend music acts somewhere in the hotel to draw upon the rich Deep Ellum music history for example The Light Crust Doughboys would be the perfect music act for the class setting and would add needed night life to the hotel or dining experience after 8 pm; Elm Good will be our go to dining from now on; I'm sure Elm Good staff and the Hotel are looking into more parking and validation options
Our server, Michael, was fantastic and did his best to accommodate us. Unfortunately, the kitchen staff appeared to be quite disorganized. We were seated next to the kitchen and could hear their conversations. Michael frequently had to shout at the kitchen because our appetizer took over 25 minutes to arrive. Our main courses came out 45 minutes after we placed our order, which felt quite lengthy to me—perhaps I have unrealistic expectations. However, I must emphasize that Michael was wonderful and even comped the appetizer for us. The food itself was good, but given the prices, I expected it to be served more quickly.
We had a fantastic dinner date after several months of challenging family news. This was our first chance to relax and enjoy a meal together in a while. The service was exceptional, the atmosphere was quiet, peaceful, and modern, and the food was incredibly delicious. This is our second visit to Elm and Good, and we will definitely be back for a third!
The service was quite slow, and I couldn’t even tell who my waitress was. After us, three other tables were seated, and they were served and had their orders taken before we did. When my son requested another order of bacon, it wasn’t as fresh as the first. I'm not sure if I’ll return.

My wife and I booked a table for two to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary. The waiter was incredibly friendly and recommended some fantastic dishes and cocktails for us to try. We’ve decided this will be a new favorite spot for our date nights!
Excellent experience at Elm Good. It was our first time dining here while celebrating my husband birthday. Our waiter Michael is an exceptional host. Can't wait to come back on vacation. Breakfast was excellent also.
Went for my 6 year anniversary and ate from their brunch menu. Wonderful service from the entire wait staff, and the food came quickly and impeccable. We had a wonderful experience and will be returning soon!
Ate here for a team event made the reservation a month ahead. Offered a very limited menu and even ran out of some items so even fewer to choose from. Food was mediocre. Service was decent. Cannot recommend.

I have mixed feelings about our visit to Elm Good. The restaurant is lovely and spacious, but the service was inconsistent and the food was just average.
