Encore Teppan - Réserver une table

I usually don’t write reviews unless it is necessary. I am writing this review so that people are aware. I made a reservation at Encore Teppan everything was well. We were seated in the bar table because they didn’t have enough space at the grill. once they sat at the grill, we waited, probably for like 30 minutes before the chef arrived. they took our orders and everything was going well. The chef did take pretty long because he was new and that was understandable. I then told the waitress that I wanted to add another order to go. I have been here before and no issues. went on the evening of 6/8/2024 around 8 pm, waited at the front desk for a few min before anyone came to see if there were guest waiting to be seated. The host Mr man bun hipster, fist thing out of his mouth is do you have a reservation, I stated we do not so i knew we were in for wait which i was ok with, it being saturday night. So now he seats like 3 or 4 parties before us, i assume they had reservations. he comes to us and states he will seat us but it will be 20 to 30 min before the chef will come but we can have drinks and appetizers before he comes i was totally ok with it. Great food! Friendly and super kind service, even though we walked in late. The prices were super reasonable. We tried several types of dishes and shared them and they were all great!! You won’t regret ordering the baked Alaskan, either!

Tired this place for the first time and it was awesome. From the hostess to our chef, everyone was very sweet and warm and the food was amazing. This was the first time my kids tired Japanese Tappan and the loved it.

The service is always amazing, Alec and the sushi bar staff did not disappoint again tonight. You have to have their poke yellowtail. If you download their app, they have many daily takeout specials.

The service was very poor. I had to wait for half an hour when I came to pick up my meal. Then the waiter came over and told me that I still had to wait for half an hour.
